I have Fallen Sick this week……….this week is the second time I report to our camp MO. The first time, i report to him, he did not really examine my condition well to precribe any medication. What he did was just gave me some panadol and some cough syrup and Att B for 2 days. The second time, I report to him, he gave me too much medication……… That night I got high fever again (man its 38.4 degree) Sad……………
Making my life worse is that our whole unit is in charge of all the static display and special effects of a parade. Moreover we have to provide some guys for the parade as well. Our whole company is being squeeze like hell, who ask us to have abundance of drivers so we can be in charge of the vehicle display and all the store run Grrrrrrrrr………… the world is not far………
As all of us are going to ORD soon, a lot of us doesnt really wanna work too much….. so when ’sai gang’ came our direction, we will catch the arrow and shoot it to other platoon mates…..The whole week is like WAR ZONE, shots are flying everywhere, and people are dodging the shots and running about doing their own things. Although I was sick, I still feel I should help up in some ways so I managed to pull myself together and drive a bit of the vehicle and I was in one of the static display.
What I have to do in the static display is simple: I just drive the vehicle in to the parade square and jump out the vehicle acting very GARANG and run towards the audiences and march off. The job is simple but try that when you are suffering a fever at 38 degrees. That is not fun lor…………..in actual fact it is tiring, by the end of the day, I was knocked out for two night and i actually slept at 8 o’clock (at this time I should be watching TV instead)
Another thing I don’t like the job is that I have to put camou cream on my face. I have not put that yuckky cream for dunno how long liao. It hard to get it out and is so oily. Very leh che you know?
Despite of that, I managed to pull through and achieve a great success for putting up the good show. I thought after that we could have a rest and enjoy the food catered for us after the parade because we heard there will be buffet. Thing did not go the way I feel it would be. When I reach the cookhouse, there is nothing for me to eat and later when we got to the officer mess to "BEGGED" for some food, all that is left was laksa. How do u expect a person who is sick to eat laksa? One word: PATHETIC.
Luckily friday came, this day is a relaxed day and all of us was doing some cleaning up and packing things, all was back to normal. Plus I got some bonus all my OFFs are being approved and I have the whole week free HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally i can rest, recupurate and join my friends on the gathering on sunday, hope i can get some friends together for the week………………………………..
P.s. I really hope that Sunday night Meeting cum BBQ will be a success and I can get a new friend there……………………………………………………………………………..
